I ordered a Gaggia Classic Pro with PID, dimmer and 9 bar spring mods. A few days in and I’ve got to say this machine is incredible. The extras that have been added really kick it up a notch. I’m quite blown away at the cost vs performance, in all honesty. Even the steam wand is fantastic.Highly recommend shopping with The Home Baristas. Anthony kept in touch with regards to the progress of my order, and sent through some very helpful guides on how to get the best out of the machine.
Modified Gaggia purchased, and it's great. Happy to have let Anthony do the job, professionally, and with the quality ShadesOfCoffee PID kit. Retains the Gaggia warranty too, for peace of mind. Loads of after sales support, advice and videos on how to brew espresso. This is the best place to buy Gaggia for a complete ownership experience; wouldn't hesitate to recommend for buying advice, in-depth knowledge, and purchase of Gaggia, and also importantly, what grinder to buy, to exploit the Gaggia Classic to its full potential.
I purchased a Gaggia Classic and Solo DF64 Grinder from Anthony at the Home Baristas and couldnt be happier with the service and quality of the equipment. I have gone from using a bean to cup machine to starting to pull some amazing shot which is down to the after help from Anthony.

Also I did start trying beans from Coffee Central, thanks for the recommendation. Bought the Yirgachieff decaff and have been enjoying the Ethiopian sweet berry for a couple of months. Just moved onto the Brazilian Sitio Grundo Funda for a slightly darker brew. All have been great so far.
Do you have any others you would recommend?

What can one say about Anthony and The Home Baristas...absolutely first class support from a true gentlemen, both professionally and personally. You would have to go far and wide to find a person so willing to give of his time and knowledge to help a new user make a decision on the correct espresso machine and grinder to choose, given the plethora of confusing options available in the marketplace. . He talks you through the process, guides you based upon your needs, not his desire for a sale and he doesn't try to push a particular brand on you, rather he looks to determine where you are in your espresso journey and seeks to enhance that in the most supportive way possible. I couldn't recommend The Home Baristas more, you will not be disappointed.

I bought a Gaggia Classic machine from Anthony. He was wonderful advising from the start before even buying it, helping me decide between different models available, and then after the product arrived with a very comprehensive document on suggested next steps, details on how to keep the machine in best shape, and more recommendations about coffee in general.
I would definitely recommend!
With Mr Simpsons help I went from a complete nube to someone who can make a decent espresso. His recommendations prior to purchase and after purchase care is second to none. Anyone who either wants to 1. Buy a coffee machine 2. Have a coffee related question Does not need to look further! This company is the way to go!
Anthony is a brilliant guy and will always give you passionate advice and make you feel welcome regardless of your experience, He even helped me source a grinder on ebay and has always provided great advice when needed. Could not and would not recommend anyone else when looking for advice.
I bought a fantastic Gaggia Classic from Anthony and couldn’t be happier. After doing my own bit of research beforehand, I had decided on an older classic and Anthony went though the various machines he had and their difference before I chose an amazing mirror finish 2006. I thought the pictures were great, but when it turned up, wow! The machine had been restored to new and you can tell that time and care had been taken. I’ve had the machine for around a year now and I’m getting great espresso. I’m glad I made the leap into buying.
My classic arrived, brilliantly packed, a couple of days after I ordered it and even had a milk jug too which was a nice touch.
Anthony also provided lots of information on how to look after the classic, how and what to upgrade if you’d be wanting to go that way, where to start with making espresso and even some recommendations on where to buy beans.

I bought a gorgeous Gaggia Classic, arrived extremely well packed and on time. The machine is now in its second year with me and has performed superbly. Anthony also showed and continues to show extreme patience when I ask a succession of newbie questions and will always take time to make sure any problem (usually of my own making) is solved! Can't recommend him highly enough! Superb.
Bought my Gaggia Classic from Anthony and was delighted with the service. Gave me options on what machines he had available. Once I picked mine he sent me pics of it disassembled to show the condition of the boiler and others of it all back together. Communication was great at all times and his "Maintain and Upgrade Plan" is a fantastic touch.
What Anthony doesn’t know about the Gaggia Classic isn’t worth knowing .. Helps others out with really useful hints and tips and is incredibly reasonable when it comes to mods and upgrades .. Looking forward to seeing what he has to offer in his new venture. All the best for the future …
