Option to be pre modify-Modified 9 bar-commercial standard for superior espresso taste.  The machine has the option to be modified to reduce the pressure to the commercial standard-9 bar.  This pressure is ideal if you plan on grinding your own beans as it will bring out a superior taste.  If selected we will modify the pressure before shipping.

If you plan on using pods or reground coffee the standard pressure is recommended.

At this price point, we don’t think there is a competitor. Here’s a review that states just as much. It states it would be pretty much perfect at 9 bar. So that’s what we installed as an option.
