This model does NOT include:
- Pressure gauge. This simply allows you to see the pressure you have set or created using the dimmer.
- Dimmer -The dimmer allows you full control of the water flow, allowing pre-infusion and ability to make coffees at different bars of pressure. This is only found in high end coffee machines
Customised Gaggia Classic includes:
- PID-to control water and steam temperature .Greater temperature stability to enhance the coffee taste even more so. It also allows the user to change the temperature for light roasts, medium roasts and dark roasts. Usually light roasts are difficult for most coffee machines to extract flavour, the PID will allow the Classic to increase the temperature to gain full flavour from light roasts.
- 9 Bar pressure spring. This reduces the pressure from the factory set 12-15 bar for prosumer extraction. The 9 bar pressure extraction is the setting on most commercial machines and enhances coffee extraction.
- Mounted in new Topbox enclosure.
The PID will be set up and programmed before shipping. All parts will be fully tested.
A full user guide will also be emailed with information and video tutorials on how to use the above and guidance on how to make the perfect coffee.

Optional extras:
Super Steam Option available:-Endless steam power. Super steam is a small internal device that automatically adds small amounts of water (and additional pump pressure) to the boiler whilst the machine is in steam mode. This ensures that you never empty the boiler of water (and hence steam) whilst the Classic is in steam mode and maintains power throughout the process.
Eco bypass - This allows the machine to stay on and be used with a smart plug/timing switch should you wish to have your machine warm before you get out of bed!). The current eco switch will automatically switch off after 15-20 minutes. This can be added to the basket from the main listing page and will be added to your machine.
Led light-Allows you to see the water level clearly and helps illuminate the water tank. Contact us once ordered and we can add this for a small charge. This can be added to the basket from the main listing page and will be added to your machine.
CronoCube shot timer-This allows a timer to automatically start when you press the brew button, so you can time your shots.Contact us once ordered and we can add this for the cost of the part. Contact us for this additional item.
Please note, the pressure gauge is not included in this version. The topbox will be complete with PID and the rest of the topbox front will be the black casing. (A hole for a gauge can be cut out at any point in the future in the topbox).

Full Warranty-Did you know installing any modification yourself will void all warranty. My agreement with Gaggia provides a full 2 year warranty on the Classic (return to me), plus a 1 year warranty of the modifications (PID, Dimmer, Spring & Gauge). As with all warranties, warranty does not include damage caused by scale, so please ensure regular maintenance.
